ZON Air Purifier

The ZONE air purifier family by Humanscale combines innovative technology with superior performance. the clean and fluid lines reflect the design language of Humanscale and position the product there, where no competitor has been. 

This product was exhibited at MoMA’s „Design and the elastic mind“ show, won „Best of NeoCon Gold“ and was published in numerous magazines. 

Prototyping & Testing

The technology used in this Air Purifier has never been seen before, was extremely innovative and performed better than on the market. We had to do extensive testing with prototypes in all shapes and sizes to find the values that give us the perfect performance. The next challenge was to transfer these lab performances into mass production.

Design

The design of the products reflect the uniqueness of the technology, while seamlessly fitting into Humanscales product portfolio. The large round vent facing the user showcases the internal innovation of the filter and fan technology. 

The design aesthetics and proportions of this air purifier was very much driven by the results of the constant technical improvements during the prototype and testing phase.
